It is under a magnificent autumn sun and with more than 25 degrees on the thermometer that the 14th edition of the AFRICA ECO RACE began this Saturday, October 15, 2022, from the French Mediterranean coast.

AFRICA ECO RACE 2023 - 15th EDITION

Only a few days after the registration closing of the Africa Eco Race 14th edition, Jean-Louis SCHLESSER announces the dates of the 15th edition taking place in March 2023. The official start will take place on the 11th of March 2023 with a Lac Rose arrival ceremony on the 26th of March 2023. Stay tuned for more details about the 2023 edition. In the meantime, follow the 2022 race taking place from the 15th to the 30th of October.

That is it, registrations are closed. Jean-Louis SCHLESSER's team is tackling the final straight and is hard at work in the final stages of the preparation for the return of the AFRICA ECO RACE which will take place from October 15th to 30th.

Entries are booming, demonstrating the enthusiasm for this event organized in the purest tradition of the great off-road rallies, in a friendly atmosphere, with a minimum of restrictions for maximum pleasure! All participants of the AFRICA ECO RACE 2022 are eager to know the route that awaits them from October 14 to 30. Jean-Louis SCHLESSER and his team are happy to reveal the main lines of this 14th edition which will mark the big return to Africa.

From 15th to 30th of October 2022. For all adventure lovers in need of a change of scenery and a wish to escape with its own cross-country vehicle, the AFRICA ECO RACE organizes, in parallel to the race, the RAID.

RE-OPENING OF THE FRANCE / MOROCCO MARITIME LINES. All Morocco lovers have been waiting for this news for a long time! It was confirmed a few days, the boats will finally be able to embark passengers and vehicles from France for Morocco! However, the AFRICA ECO RACE team has not stopped working and is now speeding up to organize for its participants, a 14th edition full of emotions, from October 15 to 30, 2022. Indeed, after unfortunately 18 months of interruption due to the pandemic, the true enthusiasts of African off-road rallies will be eager to meet again and satisfy their thirst for freedom and wide-open spaces by participating in the only rally starting from Europe and crossing 3 countries.

There are more and more women in the world of cross-country rallying, both as pilots, co-pilots, team managers, in the organization etc... To celebrate this, we have put in place an exceptional discount of 10% which will be granted on the registration, all categories combined (race, raid, assistance) until June 30, 2022.

AFRICA ECO RACE 2022 POSTPONED

Less than two months from the start of the 14th edition of the AFRICA ECO RACE supposed to take place on March 12 in Monaco, the borders with Morocco are still closed and no decision has yet been announced as to whether or not they will reopen on February 1st, 2022.
