STAGE 11: AKJOUJT / SAINT-LOUIS (BOUBENE): 517.44 kms

The last real special stage of this 2024 edition of the AFRICA ECO RACE, with a finish close to Nouakchott, will be longer than usual. It will not be very difficult, however, as it is essentially a corridor between the dunes, with a few tricky sections to tackle on the last day of the race. The advantage of arriving near Nouakchott is that, once again, the link to Senegal will be shorter. Once past the dike between the two countries, the participants will head for the bivouac, where family, friends and partners traditionally await the event's finishing heroes. A final evening, usually quite festive, to release the pressure and give the machines and men a makeover before the final podium the following day.

Africa is an happy continent with smiling people, with freedom for racing, thanks a lot to orga work to preserve classic African event based on values from first Dakars... Good luck AER!
