For this 17th edition, the Africa Eco Race is proud to announce an exceptional partnership: Baltic, an independent French watchmaking brand, becomes the rally’s Official Timekeeper.
Born from Étienne Malec’s passion—sparked by the watches of his father—Baltic pays tribute to the timepieces of the 1940s–1950s while bringing modern precision and innovation. Its DNA rests on three pillars: authenticity, heritage, and endurance.

It can be found as the official timekeeper of prestigious competitions, including Enduropale, the legendary race created by Thierry Sabine, an iconic figure of rally-raid.
This close connection with great mechanical adventures strengthens the natural bond with the Africa Eco Race— the last marathon rally in the world—crossing Morocco, Mauritania, and Senegal all the way to the legendary Lac Rose.
