Mauritania
Visa required, included in the entry fee. The organisers handle the formalities; you complete the visa with fingerprints at the border.

Senegal
Nationals of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China need a landing permit. The organisers take care of it (€60 per person).

Vaccinations
- Yellow fever: recommended, not mandatory.
- Malaria: protection recommended; consider a preventive treatment.
